RZ-Online Kevag Telekom Rhein-Zeitung

The Rhein-Zeitung ist the first newspaper in the world which is able to offer the first electronic newspaper.

There are various reasons:

1. The Rhein-Zeitung was one of the first newspapers in Germany with an independent internet service. The online-service, which has been outsourced into the RZ-Online GmbH, is one of the few services making profits already. Experience in the field of the internet has been gathered here for more than six years.
2. RZ-Online also presents a comprehensive service for the regional companies. More than 600 commercial customers use the RZ-Online products. These services are concentrated in the subsidiary company "KEVAG Telekom GmbH".

The combination of both findings: Internet-media and experience in newspaper production have led to the development of the first genuine electronic newspaper of the world.
